Construction:
1 package philo dough 1 stick unsalted butter (melted) Prepare a pan with parchment paper. Place one layer of philo dough on the pan and brush with butter. Continue for 7 layers. Add 1/3 of the filling, evenly distribute, & firmly pack. Place another layer of philo dough on the filling and brush with butter. Continue the process & end with philo dough layer. Cut baklava into desired serving sizes. Bake at 325' for one hour or until lightly browned. Pour cold syrup over hot baklava & recut. |
