Greek Pastries - Mrs. Shamus-Douglas
Meat Filling:
1 Tbs pine nuts 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 1 onion, finely chopped 1 lb lean ground beef 1 Tbs chopped fresh parsley 1 Tbs cinnamon |
Olive & Feta Filling:
1/2 cup pitted olives, chopped Feta cheese 1/2 cup cottage cheese 1 Tbs chopped fresh parsley 1 Tbs chopped fresh mint 1 Tbs chopped fresh green onions |
Tzatziki:
1 cucumber, seeded & diced 1 tsp salt 1 garlic clove, minced 1 Tbs chopped fresh mint 1 cup plain greek yogurt |
Directions:
Cut circles out of two boxes of puff pastry. Fill each circle, wash with egg wash, and bake for 12 mins at 425'. Serve hot with Tzatziki. |
