Macaroni & Cheese - Mrs. Childs
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni 3 Tbs Butter 3 Tbs Flour 2 Cups Milk 1/2 tea. Salt 1/2 tea. Pepper 2 Cups Cheese 1 Sleeve Ritz Crackers Insight: How does this recipe differ from boxed mac-n-cheese? |
Instructions:
PASTA: Fill a medium saucepan 2/3 full of water and boil. Add macaroni & cook until soft. Strain and set aside. SAUCE: In a small saucepan melt butter. Add flour & whisk. Add milk and cook until thickened. Take off heat, Add salt, pepper, & cheese. MIX: Mix sauce into pasta & stir. Pour into an 8x8 pan. Top with crushed ritz crackers. BAKE: 350' for 20 mins or until it bubbles |
